This week in our shop- weeks 2 & 3
Hi Friends!
I went quiet last week because I was busy, busy, busy. Since the last “this week in our shop post”, we have added 6 listings to our Etsy shop.
But first a little background information-
Our Etsy shop says it has been open since 2017, but there were no listings until this past November. I got serious about blogging and business in August 2019- so serious that I did a ton of research and purchased a course on blogging. I couldn’t wait to start! A few days later, my grandfather passed away and we moved back from overseas in 1 week to make it to his funeral. The blog and business got put on the back burner (and rightly so). In fact, I associated it with my grandfather’s passing and couldn’t log back into the course.
I had to let it hurt in order to heal. My grandfather wouldn’t have wanted me to quit. The blog and business have been my dream and my grandfather always believed in me. He is such a big part of who I am and I think of him often.
All of that to say that, we have actually only been open since November- and it has been a whirlwind of glitter, vinyl, and steep learning curves! So- I spent a good week continuing my education.
Prior to November, I had zero graphic design experience. I didn’t know what an SVG was or what program one might use to make one! I’ve dabbled in html code, adobe illustrator, photoshop, and more… I’ve learned so much in the last 4 months and will continue to add to my toolbox.
Want to learn how to do something I am working on? Just ask, that’s why I created this blog. I love to learn new things and I can’t wait to share them with you all.
Week 2-
We tried our hand at custom puzzle making. This is a photo from our wedding ceremony- we were dancing to “Swing” by Michael Bublé. Quite the trip down memory lane!

Week 3-
We focused on sublimation and added these three listings to our shop. These prints are ready to press for anyone who wants to try out the sublimation process, but doesn’t have the equipment.

That’s all for this week, thanks for reading!
