Meet Caroline Crafts

I just realized that I’ve never taken the time write a blog post about me! Honestly, that is probably because this blog isn’t about me… it’s very much about you and your experience. However, I was reminded recently that you all could go anywhere for sublimation transfers or sublimation help and instead you chose me and because of that, I owe it to you to tell you a little bit about me.

There, I did it. I got super uncomfortable a put a picture of myself on my website. When I started this, I had no intention of showing my face. In fact, I even chose a pseudonym for my last name: Crafts. I’ve grown to LOVE that name for my business and so it’s here to stay, but I’ve found that “who” I am has so much to do with how I can help my customers and showing my face has become a part of my daily “to do” list.

So, here goes:

  1. I just had my fifth baby in November 2022.

  2. I live on a small farm which is both hard and beautiful and devastating and rewarding….

  3. I am married to the most handsome of sailors (also my high school sweetheart). Go Navy beat Army!

  4. I unapologetically love Jesus and strive to put my spiritual, family, and home health above my business DAILY which means I am far from perfect in the business world

  5. I really, really enjoy learning new things and checking things off my list

Okay, great, but what does that have to do with you????

Well, as you can see, I am a busy lady who is far from perfect! Which is great news because if I can learn to sublimate and build/ manage a business, you can to!

This sort of sounds like it goes against my brand. Ironic, I know! The name “Made Perfect in Love” came from the bible verse: 1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

I was afraid to start my business because I was afraid of failure and I was afraid I wouldn’t be perfect. And guess what? I did fail! And I wasn’t perfect! And that is okay. My life, this business, our homestead… it is all made perfect because of love. It’s Made Perfect in Love with an added LLC because it’s 2023 and it needs to be there legally. Can I get an AMEN? LOL

Here is our story:

When I started Made Perfect in Love, I had no idea what I was doing. This is going to sound like a complete mess (because it was), but I decided that we needed to get our finances under control and I needed a way to do it asap because Christmas was coming ….fast. I got in my car and drove to the dollar store. $20 and a bag full of stuffed elves later and we were in business. We made $$$ and Christmas morning was a success, but then I realized that I didn’t know what to do after that??? Christmas products do NOT sell in January. We slowly figured out how to make this “business” thing work and built a successful online business.

My business has evolved over time to be something totally different than I originally imagined and then in 2022, it was completely wiped out. We had a major house fire- where we watched our home, beloved pets, and business burn in a matter of hours. Worse than that, I didn’t have business insurance. My insurance would only cover up to $2,500 of any supplies (including sublimation and homestead supplies used for business). We had to decide what mattered most, how to get the best bang for our buck, and how to build a business a 2nd time literally from the ground up, but this time in a tiny home on our property instead of an office in our home!

My goal is to use these hard lessons learned to help my customers go from “what if” to successful business plan but without all of the mistakes made, money wasted and growth pains experienced. We hope to help others realize that the potential to work from home is more than just a dream. It can be reality. I might be biased but I am especially passionate about helping mamas who want to be home with their babies!

I want to help you craft your dreams come true.
